If you have never worked with a designer before, don’t be intimidated. At UP we pride ourselves on working with you in a relaxed manner, and helping you realize your goals for your project. If you are feeling overwhelmed by a project, we will simplify the process and give you the confidence to make a change.
It is really important that you love your home, and we would love to help you do that. Your finished product should reflect your good taste – not ours. You aren’t sure you have any ideas? We will work with you to find your inner designer.

This is a two hour consultation (roughly – no stopwatch) and your opportunity to pick my experienced, bursting with ideas, creative brain. Maybe you don’t love a room and don’t know why. Perhaps you need the perfect paint colour for the living room. Is the furniture layout just not working? Need ideas for a kitchen reno and need to be pointed in the right direction? Selling your house and need some advice on preparing your home for resale? Can you update the bathroom without a complete gut job? Start your list of questions, put on the kettle and I’ll be over with my measuring tape. (Actually, it's now a laser – so much better, oh, and I take milk and sugar in my tea).
GET UPLIFTED – $185+HST
LIVING ENVIRONMENT UPGRADE – THE DESIGN PLAN
This package includes a two hour initial consultation. At the initial consultation, I will collect measurements, take pictures, listen to your wants and needs, percolate ideas and take that back to my studio to create. At a second meeting you will be presented with a design plan, which may include furniture floor plans (your existing keepers and maybe something new), paint colours, fixtures, accessories, window coverings and everything to complete your project, as close to your established budget as possible. I will provide you with a To Do list and a shopping list – then you can execute it yourself if you are so inclined, or we can!
GET UPGRADED - $800.00 +HST (Flat fee, max two rooms)
Get your mind out of the gutter. This is an online consultation. You email me a dilemma, a question, with measurements and photos. I send you back some suggestions in 1-2 business days. This is meant to be quick, about an hour of my time.
QUICK FIX - $50.00 (online)
There are so many decisions that need to be made, preferably before digging. Working with you and your builder, I will guide you through the selection of all your interior finishes. Flooring, trim, cabinets, countertops, fixtures, paint colours etc., I will help you ensure that your new home or major reno is all that you’ve imagined and more. We can meet in your builder’s showroom to make selections, or collect samples from your custom builders' various preferred suppliers. Whichever is required, I will help you take the stress out of these design decisions – in the end you will be confident with your choices and excited to see the end result. For a subdivision home with a product showroom budget: 3-4 hours. For a custom home, budget approximately 10 hours per 1000 square feet. (e.g. 2000 sf custom home - $1,500 consult)
